The Showtec RDM Merge is a professional-grade 4-to-2 DMX merger with full RDM support, designed to offer flexible signal management in complex lighting setups. With four DMX inputs and two outputs, it allows users to patch and merge multiple sources into one or two outputs, depending on the needs of the installation. Each output can be configured to combine specific inputs, giving you full control over signal routing.
This unit supports a range of advanced merge modes, including HTP (Highest Takes Precedence), LTPC (Latest Takes Precedence by Channel), LTPU (Latest Takes Precedence by Universe), Backup mode for automatic failover, and Append mode for splitting DMX channels between sources. These modes provide powerful options for managing signal priority, redundancy, and channel distribution, making the RDM Merge an essential tool for live events, fixed installations, and touring setups.
