The DAP GIG-82 V2 is a versatile 8-channel analogue mixing console designed for live sound applications, small performances, presentations, and home recording setups. Despite its compact footprint, it offers a wide range of professional features and onboard effects that make it a reliable companion for musicians, sound engineers, and content creators.
It features four XLR/jack combo inputs with a mic preamp, -20 dB pad switch, 48 V phantom power, and low-cut filter. Channel 4 includes a Hi-Z mode, allowing direct connection of instruments such as electric guitars. All four mono channels offer gain control, compressor, 3-band EQ, FX send knob, pan control, mix level knob, and clip LED indicators. Channels 5/6 and 7/8 provide stereo line-level inputs via dual 6.3 mm jacks, each with FX send level, pan and mix level controls. Additional inputs include a 3.5 mm Aux minijack and BT connectivity, which share a level knob.
The GIG-82 V2 also features a USB-C interface with 2-in/2-out functionality, shared with the Channel 7/8 input, making it ideal for recording and playback. Outputs include a pair of balanced 6.3 mm jack main outputs, a dedicated control room output via balanced jacks, a headphone output with independent volume knob (which also sets the control room output level), and a minijack recording output that mirrors the USB signal.
The GIG-82 V2 includes eight internal digital effects that can be applied to all channels except Aux and BT. An FX sends output allows signal routing to external effects processors or use as a monitor send bus. A clear LED VU meter provides visual feedback of output levels, and the mixer is powered by a dedicated ±15V DC external power supply for stable operation.
