Highest picture quality thanks to a 4 megapixel resolution

Due to the application of a special image sensor, the resolution of these cameras is up to 10 times higher than that of a standard analog CCTV camera. In addition, these cameras provide an excellent image geometry due to an image sensor activated in the centre only.

Due to the higher resolution, these cameras provide a considerably more detailed image when taking the same image section as with analog cameras. On the other hand, a considerably larger image section can be displayed when compared to an analog camera of the same resolution. Thus, the number of cameras to be operated can be reduced, ideally suited e.g. for shop applications.

The application of special megapixel lenses ensures a perfect image quality. Depending on the type of camera, these have either been integrated already, or are available at option as VGM-550AS and VGM-308AS.

Several different video sequences can be transmitted to different viewers at the same time due to dual stream technology or quad stream technology.

The transmitted video pictures are recorded onto a PC via a special network recording software which is available at option. The top products of the series additionally feature a built-in SD card recorder.
